The conference excursion will be organised on 12 August 2025 and will last a full day. Participants will visit selected sites within the Gemenc floodplain area, focusing on river–floodplain interactions, water-related habitats, floodplain forests and ongoing habitat restoration and reconstruction efforts along the Danube River.
